Can I mix Live classes and online classes, and if so, do I get teacher support and 1:1 tutoring for the online classes?
Yes, you can mix live classes and online classes. You would be able to utilize homework help as well as receive teacher support for grading. -
Do you offer both Faith-based and secular options?
Yes, Bridgeway offers both, allowing families to choose what aligns with their values. -
How is the curriculum offered different from that of public school?
Bridgeway provides customized, flexible curriculum choices. It does not require Common Core, does not promote CRT, and offers accurate, age-appropriate history without political bias. Parents have full control and visibility over what their child is learning. -
How do AP and Honors courses work at Bridgeway Academy?
AP courses are structured online with teacher support, videos, readings, assignments, and practice exams. Honors courses are available online or via textbook. - Does Bridgeway provide state regulated end of year assessments?
No, we do not.
Parent Involvement & Daily Life

How long does the average student spend on school work at BW?
- Elementary: 1β2 hours/day
- Middle School: 2β3 hours/day
- High School: 3β6 hours/day

How much parent involvement is expected?
Parents act as the main home educator. LOC teachers support the curriculum. - Are parents in charge of grading?
Some programs require parents to grade, but others donβt require any grading at all. - How are tests delivered?
For grades 1β5 textbook courses, tests are paper-based. Blended Discover courses offer both paper and online options. Most courses for grade 5 and up use online testing. Live classes allow either paper or online tests. Some courses also use project-based assessments.

Does accreditation carry over to universities outside of the U.S.?
Not automatically. Recognition depends on country-specific policies, type of accreditation, evaluation services, and program of study. -
Does BW help prepare for SAT and college?
Yes. Bridgeway provides academic resources, guidance, and personalized graduation plans. Students can take dual-enrollment courses and choose from standard, honors, and AP classes.

How does the HOPE program work?
HOPE Program identifies learning challenges, strengthens weak areas, and builds language skills through therapeutic methods. -
What accommodations are provided for kids with learning disabilities and IEPs?
In addition to the HOPE program, Bridgeway works with families to provide accommodations that match how each student learns best. Some limitations may apply depending on individual needs.
